Josh has written
for and appeared on MTV in America as well as MTV Europe, Asia and Latin
America and worked frequently with Comedy Central, creating and
performing original comedy and shows for the channel and appearing on
many of the network's comedy specials and series. In addition, he has
performed his comedy all over New York, across the country, and at
festivals around the world including HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in
Aspen, Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe
Festival. Josh was an original cast member and Co-writer of the off-off
Broadway hit, "Crepuscule" which evolved into the hit Broadway
musical, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". He's a
founding member of the award-winning comedy groups, The Bert Fershners
and New York Comedysportz and has worked as an actor, director and
playwright with countless New York theater companies including Naked
Angels, The Adobe Theater, and the 52nd Street Project. His acting work
on TV includes, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Late
Night with Conan O'Brien" and commercials for burgers, beer, and
gas.
Joey first caught the film bug as a teenager when cast
as a student in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". Now he is
concentrating directing. His feature length documentary "Breath
Control:The History Of the Human Beat Box" documents the art of making
music with nothing other than the human voice. It has had the honor of
screening at The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C, The Rock and Roll
Hall Of Fame, The Experience Music Project in Seattle, The Brooklyn
Museum of Art, The Bronx Museum, The Walker Center, Yerba Buena Center
for the Arts in San Francisco. Internationally, “Breath Control” has
won several festival awards including 'Best Of The Fest' at both the
Edinburgh International Film Festival and the Adelaide International
Film Festival in Australia. Joey also directed “Style Wars Revisited”
the 20 year anniversary re-issue dvd of the seminal graffiti film
"Style Wars." He is a member of The Bert Fershners comedy
group and has appeared with them on Comedy Central, MTV, and Britain’s
Channel 4. He has also directed commercials for Sprite and several music
videoÂ’s.
Sarah is
currently the Head of Development at De Fina Film Productions. Prior to
her position at De Fina Film Productions, she worked for three years at
Martin Scorsese's company Cappa Productions. Sarah began her film career
working for producer Scott Rudin, and has also worked closely with
producer Robert Greenhut. She has worked on numerous films, including
"Gangs of New York," "Bringing Out the Dead,"
"Wonder Boys," "Sleepy Hollow," "AngelaÂ’s
Ashes," and "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut."
Sarah graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in Film Studies and is
a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Andrew is
presently the head of theatrical marketing for Palm Pictures where he
has overseen the theatrical marketing campaigns for such films as the
critically acclaimed Iraq War doc. "Gunner Palace" and the
thriller "Cronicas" from the producers of Y Tu Mama Tambien
and starring John Leguizamo. Prior to joining Palm, Andrew was the
Senior Vice President of Marketing and New Media at Miramax Films where
he focused on the theatrical marketing campaigns for wide release
pictures such as "Chicago," "Confessions of a Dangerous
Mind", "Cold Mountain," "Kill Bill Vol. 1 and
2," "Hero" among many others. Andrew graduated from
Vassar College with a B.A. in philosophy.
